Terms and Conditions

PlayAlberta.online – Player Agreement

This Player Agreement (“Agreement”) establishes the legally binding terms and conditions governing access to and use of PlayAlberta.online (“the Platform”). By registering for and using the Platform, you confirm that you:
(a) are at least 18 years of age;
(b) are physically located within the province of Alberta while engaging in any gameplay or transactions; and
(c) have read, understood, and accepted all provisions of this Agreement, including referenced policies and game-specific rules.

1. Eligibility and Registration

1.1 Legal Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old and physically located within Alberta at the time of accessing PlayAlberta.online’s gaming services. Registration and play are not permitted if you are:

enrolled in a self-exclusion program,

legally restricted from gambling under Canadian law,

otherwise prohibited by the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC).

1.2 Account Creation
Each player may hold one (1) account only. You are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and current personal information, and for keeping your login credentials secure.

1.3 Right to Refuse or Terminate
AGLC or the Platform operator reserves the right to refuse registration, suspend or permanently close an account if:

the information provided is false or unverifiable,

you violate the terms of this Agreement,

or as otherwise deemed necessary to maintain regulatory compliance and game integrity.

2. Use of Platform

2.1 Permitted Use
Your account must only be used for personal entertainment purposes. Commercial use or account sharing is strictly prohibited.

2.2 Location Restriction
No gameplay, purchasing, or account interaction is permitted from outside Alberta. Geolocation technology will be used to enforce compliance.

2.3 Prohibited Conduct
The following activities are prohibited and may result in account suspension or legal action:

Use of bots or automated systems,

Attempting to manipulate game outcomes or exploit system vulnerabilities,

Money laundering or fraudulent financial activity.

3. Deposits, Limits, and Account Funding

3.1 Funding Methods
Players may deposit funds using Canadian-accepted methods such as:

Visa / MasterCard (excluding gift cards),

Interac e-Transfer®,

PayPal,

Apple Pay.

Deposits must be made from accounts held in the player’s own name.

3.2 Limits and Controls
Players can set daily, weekly, and monthly deposit and wager limits. The current minimum deposit is $5.00 CAD. Maximum deposits are capped at $25,000 per day and $100,000 per week. Increases in limits are subject to a 24-hour cooling-off period.

3.3 Account Balance Cap
Account balances exceeding the platform’s maximum threshold may be subject to forced withdrawal after 72 hours.

4. Withdrawals and Refunds

4.1 Withdrawal Rules
Only verified winnings are eligible for withdrawal. Deposits cannot be withdrawn unless unused and refunded in accordance with AML/FINTRAC policy. The minimum withdrawal amount is $10.00 CAD.

4.2 Verification and Processing
Withdrawals are processed to Canadian bank accounts in the player’s name or via PayPal/Interac. Additional identity verification or documentation may be required.

4.3 Chargebacks and Disputes
In the event of a chargeback, the account may be suspended or terminated, and legal recourse may be pursued.

5. Bonuses and Promotions

5.1 Eligibility and Application
Bonuses are discretionary and may be revoked at any time. They are non-transferable, non-withdrawable, and can only be used for gameplay.

5.2 Expiration and Limitations
Bonuses are subject to expiry dates, promotional conditions, and wagering requirements which are outlined in each individual promotion.

6. Gameplay Rules and Purchases

6.1 Finality of Purchase
Once a wager is placed or ticket purchased, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.

6.2 System Accuracy
In all cases, the Platform’s internal system records prevail in the event of dispute or error.

6.3 Subscriptions
Recurring lottery subscriptions can be managed via your account. Cancellations must be made prior to the next scheduled purchase.

7. Player Protection and Privacy

7.1 Responsible Gambling
Players may opt into a self-exclusion program, after which all account access will be restricted and remaining bonus balances forfeited.

7.2 Data Collection and Use
PlayAlberta.online collects and manages personal information in accordance with:

Alberta’s Protection of Privacy Act (POPA),

Canada’s PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act), and

FINTRAC obligations under the PCMLTFA (Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act).

Data is securely stored on Canadian servers. Some limited service-related data may be processed in the U.S. by approved third-party providers under strict confidentiality.

8. Breach of Terms

8.1 Sanctions
Violation of this Agreement may result in:

Account suspension or permanent closure,

Withholding of winnings or funds,

Notification of law enforcement authorities,

Legal action to recover damages and costs.

8.2 Error Handling
If an error occurs in payouts or account credits, the Platform reserves the right to adjust your account and reclaim erroneously awarded funds.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada.

Disputes will be resolved based on system records and applicable legislation.

The Agreement may be amended at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, software, and data on PlayAlberta.online remain the exclusive property of the Platform operator or its licensors. No rights are granted to users beyond what is expressly authorized.
